South Kerry Senior Championship Skellig Rangers0-12  Sneem/Derrynane1-05.

Skellig played with a strong wind in the first half and they took full advantage of it.Sean Courtney Danial O Sullivan and Gary O Driscoll opened up a 3 point lead.Sneem/Derrynane were finding it difficult to get out of thier own half as skellig were lording it at midfield and half-back and forward lines were  picking up all the breaks.Sean Courtney and Ciaran Keating were causing the Sneem/Derrynane full-back line all sorts of problems and they shared the next 5 points between them with Courtneys accuracy particularly impressive. It could have been alot worse for Sneem/Derrynane but Aidan O Sullivan was unlucky not to convert 2 goal chances. Skellig were defending well and did not concede until the 25th minute. That goal by David Breen gave Sneem/Derrynane a lifeline and left the half-time score at Skellig Rangers0-08 Sneem/Derrynane1-0.At the start of the second half both sides exchanged points Breandan O Sullivan and Ciaran Keating for rangers Dennis O Sullivan and David Breen for Sneem/Derrynane.Sean Courtney and Stephen O Sullivan put rangers 7 in front but Sneem/Derrynane finished stronger with 2 points from Ronan Hussey and 1 from Darren Breen but it wasnt enough and rangers were victourious.Rangers were always in control and never looked like losing the game.It was a good all round performance from rangers and they were dominant in all sectors of the field.Man of the Match Sean Courtney.
