Well done to our Junior team on their historic win last Saturday in the South Kerry Junior Championship. They defeated St. Marys on a scoreline of 2-09 to 0-07 in an exciting game of football. Great credit is due to the management and players for landing such a fantastic win against a strong opposition. With the Mary's carrying a half time lead of two points one would find it hard to believe that the Rangers would finish the game 8 points the better. The goals came from the boots of Alan Devane and Sean Courtney and both were met with scenes of great jubilation. Apologies for no full match report - please see sports section of paper. The team lined out as follows: 1. Michael Brennan, 2. Brendan Keating, 3. Declan O'Sullivan, 4. Brian Murphy, 5.
